Bluebird Bounty moves surplus food toward people and community programs that can use it. The meal is the point. Waste is what the work tries to interrupt.
Card numbers are never typed on this website. Gifts, when checkout is connected, finish on Stripe.

The mission
We start from a plain belief: food that is still good should be eaten. Rescue is the careful work in between — noticing what would go unused and handing it to a kitchen, a pantry, or a program ready to serve it with dignity.
Bluebird Bounty exists for that handoff. The people who receive the food deserve the same care you would want for someone you cook for.

Someone moves it while it is still worth eating. Handling, time, and temperature sit inside the practices this organization sets for itself.

The food goes to community meals, pantries, and other programs ready to cook or offer it. The aim is a table, not a pile that only changed address.
